This 16 x 20 inch acrylic painting depicts a grove of birch trees against a peach toned background.  Drifting snow on the ground and in the trees has embedded glitter flakes to give the effect of ice crystals.  The painting is done on canvas and set in a wooden frame painted with a birch bark motif.
